WHO ARE BISCUIT LTD
Biscuit Ltd was set up in 2004, by two creatives, Fletcher Sibthorp, fine artist, and his wife- a designer. They wanted a working Studio where not only hands-on creative work is conceived and carried out, but where they could extend their professional expertise into other areas - interior design, specialist furniture and Art publishing.
THE SERVICE WE PROVIDE
On the fine art side, we regularly exhibit originals - paintings, studies and drawings - predominantly at London galleries (we have a yearly exhibition in Cork Street), but also in smaller galleries all over the UK. Further to that we exhibit once or twice a year in Japan. So, although the majority of original work is exhibited and sold by galleries, we have had several collectors buy directly from us at the Studio and Fletcher has carried out several commissioned pieces. Please contact us for further information.
Some originals are also selected to be produced as limited edition prints - giclées and silkscreens. These are also available directly from the Studio, as well as certain key galleries across the UK. At first we will only be offering new pieces, but plan to also be offering a back catalogue.
All giclees are produced to an exceptionally high standard, on heavy art paper with light resistant inks. We keep the edition sizes low (between 150 and 295) as we wish to retain the exclusivity of the pieces.
Silkscreens are produced in the UK using at least 30 separate colour screens to attain the highest degree of finish. Again, printed on high quality cotton rag paper, the edition sizes are kept low.
All prints are signed and numbered and issued with a certificate. Silkscreens and originals on paper will also all be stamped.
GUARANTEE OF AUTHENTICITY
Any piece, be it original or print, sent by this Studio, will be signed and numbered and be accompanied by a signed Certicate of Authenticity. All silkscreens and originals on paper will be stamped with a special embossed seal. Receipts will also be provided.
PURCHASING FROM US AND THE PAYMENT SYSTEMS WE USE
Card transactions are processed by Protx and / or Paypal secure servers. We do not capture card details on our own site. If you give us your card details directly they are destroyed once payment has been made. We do not retain your card details in any format.
All payments, be they online, cheque etc will have to clear before items are despatched.

Protyx
Protx, established since 1995, is an alternative payment method to Paypal - for all credit & debit card payments. Protx are specialists in the field of internet payment solutions, having achieved the highest level of compliance under the PAyment Card Industry Security Standard (PCI) and use bank-approved software & the highest level of encryption to ensure that your credit or debit card details are kept secure at all times.

CASH
we do accept some cash payments in certain circumstances.
PACKAGING AND DELIVERY
We use reinforced, double-ply card tubes for all prints and will send these by Business Post as soon as payments have cleared. All items over £70 will NOT incur a packing and postage fee. Original drawings and studies can also be sent in this manner. Due to the large scale, heavy weight nature of original paintings, they will be packed as appropriate to the piece and can be collected in person or couriered. Smaller items, like cards (not yet available) will incur a P&P cost if under £70.
For your security, your package must be signed for on delivery. If there is nobody at your delivery address to sign for your parcel, the postman will leave you a note and the parcel will be held for collection at your local post office. The parcel will be held for seven days before being returned to us.
